The VISIBLE MARS BAR Project - Introduction

The aim of this project is to learn more about Mars Bars and Milky Way Bars with the specific goal of comparing U.S. and English confectionery.

The Procedure

  1. The bar is frozen for several hours to improve the quality of the cuts.
  2. The bar is photographed, unwrapped, photographed again.
  3. The bar is sliced into 10mm slices. Best possible with available equipment.
  4. Each slice is than scanned at 300dpi.
